3. THÔNG TIN VỀ MÔN HỌC 1. Thông tin chung: - Số đơn vị học trình/ tín chỉ: 2 (45 tiết) - Các môn học tiên quyết: Đọc 1 - Các môn học kế tiếp: Đọc 3 2. Mục tiêu của môn học: Hoàn thành học phần này, sinh viên nâng cao kỹ năng đọc hiểu, đoán nghĩa của từ và ý của câu bằng tiếng Anh một cách dễ hiểu và rõ ràng. Các mục tiêu cụ thể: + Rèn luyện kỹ năng đọc lướt để lấy ý chính (skimming) hay đọc từng phần để tìm thông tin chi tiết (scanning). + Rèn luyện kỹ năng đoán từ trong văn cảnh + Làm journals sau mỗi chương để củng cố lại nội dung bài đọc,bày tỏ quan điểm về vấn đề trong bài đã học. 3. Tóm tắt nội dung môn học: Môn ĐỌC 2 là nối tiếp của ĐỌC 1. Học phần này tiếp tục tập trung củng cố từ vựng cho sinh viên và phát triển kỹ năng đọc thông qua 10 chương với 37 bài đọc được trình bày với nhiều chủ đề đa dạng. Mỗi chương bao gồm 03 đến 06 bài đọc được trình bày với các phần chính như: phần giới thiệu từ vựng, phần bài khoá, phần trả lời câu hỏi đọc hiểu, phần củng cố kỹ năng. Môn ĐỌC 2 tiếp tục cung cấp cho sinh viên kiến thức ngữ pháp cơ bản, phát triển vốn từ vựng, các cấu trúc câu cũng như cách diễn đạt theo từng chủ điểm của bài đọc trong giáo trình. 4.
